Rigging

Most of my recent work is currently under NDA but below is a few pieces of unrelated work I can show off.

FPS Arms rig (2020)

I originally made this rig for the game Sniper Extinction at The Station but I updated it and reworked some parts of it in 2020. The rig is pretty basic with roll joints in the forearms for proper twist deformation of the wrists, IK/FK switch for controlling the arms as well as some simple controls for the rifle itself as well as a switch for following right or left hand or unconstrained.

Horse rig (2018)

This is a horse rig I made in 2018 following a course from 3DMotive. Many of the lessons from that course made their way into our animal rigs in projects at work, specifically the setup for good hind leg control.

Student projects  (2017)

These are rigs I made for the last game projects we made at The Game Assembly.

Racing characters

Two characters I rigged for a sidescrolling racing game we made as our final project. The wolf character is a pretty standard humanoid character with an FK tail and added controls for ears and his long snout.

The red robot is basically a pair of legs with proper foot roll custom attributes, a crotch as the main Hip controller and with some cords set up on top with an IK spline for controlling.

Enemy characters

Two enemy characters I rigged for an FPS game we made. IK/FK switches for arms (and tripod legs) and custom attributes for the humanoid robot's blade hands.

The Tripod robot could switch between mobile stance or deployed mode.
